The client had this existing chandelier, and the hanging metal pieces had no glass in them. I heated the metal “cages” up and blew glass into them while hot to create the bubble effect. The colors were chosen to mimic the dragon theme of the chandelier.

The client had one remaining glass globe from this antique chandelier. We had a custom wood blow mold made from that original, and I made 8 new globes from it. Then. a fellow artist, Ashley McFarland, sandblasted, carved and finished them to match the original style.
